Seattle Clemency Project hosting a digital literacy course for people reentering the community

By Brooke Kaufman | Communications Specialist

The Seattle Clemency Project (SCP) will host a two-session digital literacy course for people reentering the community after serving long-term incarceration. Classes are open to people who are interested in learning more about how to navigate technology. Whether you have a working knowledge or are just starting, this course is designed to enhance all skill levels. People who complete the course will receive a free laptop, tablet, or phone. Classes will be held in person and remotely across the state. The exact dates are to be determined, but classes will be held from March to June.

Interested participants can use this form to register for the course. Questions can be directed to SCP’s reentry navigator, Marcus Price, at marcus@seattleclemencyproject.org. Further inquiries should be sent to gerald@seattleclemencyproject.org and helen@seattleclemencyproject.org.
